Our Story

Running Side by Side

Move With Me was born from a simple belief — that every athlete deserves a partner, and every runner has something to give.

How It Started

Move With Me grew out of the running community's commitment to inclusion. What started as a conversation between a few passionate runners became a structured program pairing athletes with physical disabilities with dedicated volunteer guides.

Rooted in Kenner, Louisiana, and anchored at the Lincoln Manor Adaptive Sports Center, the program has grown into a thriving community where athletes and volunteers train together, race together, and build lasting friendships.

We believe sport has no boundaries. Whether it's a 5K on a Saturday morning or a full marathon, every finish line is worth crossing — and no one should have to cross it alone.

Our Home Base

Lincoln Manor Adaptive Sports Center

Kenner, Louisiana

The Lincoln Manor Adaptive Sports Center is the heart of our program — and the home of Sports Night. Every week, athletes and caregivers get off the bleachers and into the game, working side by side with volunteers to choose the activity they want to play. From basketball and football to Connect Four and walking, Sports Night is proof that everyone belongs in the game.
